NH Water & Watershed Conference March 18-20, 2015

This year the annual NH Water & Watershed Conference is partnering with the New England Environmental Biologists Association under the theme “Partnerships for Environmental Progress” for a three-day conference in Bartlett, NH. It’s your opportunity to tune up your water knowledge by attending workshops and poster sessions and expand your networks. The conference, held in the past at Plymouth State University, often sells out so we recommend registering early if your plan to go. The conference will be held at the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel and a group rates is available for those who wish to stay overnight. For more information, click here.

A sad announcement: Gail Darrell, water advocate and community organizer, passed away Feb.27, 2015

Gail Darrell, a tireless water advocate and community organizer for the Center for Environmental Legal Defense Fund, passed away February 27, 2015 after a brief illness. Many of us knew Gail through her water work which began in her hometown of Barnstead and gradually extended outward through CELDF. Her gentle presence will be missed among us. At this time, we do not have information available about calling hours or services and will update as we know more. To read more about Gail, click here.
