Bankruptcy judge orders USA Springs, Inc. assets auction 7/20/12

Federal bankruptcy court judge J. Michael Deasy ordered the sale of the Delaware corporation USA Springs, Inc.’s assets by auction on July 20, 2012. The auction will be held at the offices of USA Springs, Inc.’s attorneys Riemer & Braunstein LLP, 3 Center Plaza, Boston, MA 02108 at 10 a.m. EST. According to the order, bidders must be deemed “qualified” through a vetting process described in the May 21, 2012 order. Bidders and other entities must keep their offers confidential with access only to parties in the case. While bidders may submit offers, there needs to be agreement among the creditors to a sale. The company’s bankruptcy plan at this time is expired as the Malom Group, AG of Switzerland never came in with the financing by the court’s deadline.
